Teaching Philosophy

Natalie embraces a student-centred approach that emphasizes community and shared knowledge creation. In her classroom, learning is a collaborative process where all voices contribute to the growth and development of ideas. She integrates play, exploration, and experimentation as essential elements in learning artistic practices.

Experience & Qualification

MA in Education (Arts Specialization) from Ontario Institute for Studies in Education at UofT 

BFA in Studio Art and Art History from Concordia University

Deeply invested in the pedagogy of arts education, Natalie earned an MA in Education (Curriculum, Teaching and Learning) from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (University of Toronto) in 2012. This degree allowed her to deepen her understanding of art education and arts-based educational practices.

She has taught in various settings:
